"The post-coronavirus world will benefit from sport. And we are ready to help shape it, we are ready to make the world a better place through sport”, The IOC President said in a video message, calling on governments around the world to include sport in their post-coronavirus support programs. As President Bach explained, sport contributes to the recovery from the crisis, creating a better world from a socio-economic and health point of view and because "sport creates jobs, generates entrepreneurial activity, plays a significant economic role in many countries, all vital elements as countries try to reopen their economies ".
He also explained how the most necessary value at the moment is solidarity, within society as well as between nations, and it is precisely sport that brings this value to the palm of the hand, teaches it and transmits it.
Let's start again
The federation and all the affiliated societies have accepted this challenge and start again for a new year together of sport and entertainment, with a careful eye on the safety of athletes and instructors.
Sport restarts safely
In compliance with the current decrees of the San Marino Government and with a look at neighboring Italy, the federation has drawn up documents, drawn up reports and fielded a series of actions at the sports facilities, for athletes and technicians in order to to safeguard them and the community.
In this way, all the affiliated companies have been able to restart their sport in total safety.
